Booking Appointments Online Posted or Updated on 12 Mar 2024

From July 2019 the following appointments will be available to book directly via online service from your mobile, iPad, or computer.

Please read the lists below carefully to ensure you do not book an appointment with a staff member who is unable to provide the service you require because you will be asked to rebook your appointment with a suitably qualified staff member.

Please note: Health Care Workers (HCW) are not Nurses

Please do not book any new blood tests with the Health Care Worker (HCW) unless they have been agreed with the GP & recorded onto the computer. The HCW has been instructed not to take any unauthorised blood tests. Ongoing repeat blood tests can be booked with the HCW.

1. Healthcare Worker - Andrea

• Blood test
• INR blood tests
• ECG (Double appointment, GP to have agreed)
• Repeat NOT first or loading B12 Injection
• Blood Pressure monitoring; CVD screening
• Healthy Heart check (double appointment)
• Flu & Pneumonia Vaccinations
• 24 hr Blood pressure (do not book online – BP monitor must be available)

2. Healthcare Worker - Lynne

• Blood Tests
• INR blood tests (if Andrea on holiday)
• B12 injections
• Blood Pressure monitoring
• CVD screening
• ECG (Double appointment, GP to have agreed)
• Flu, shingles & Pneumonia Vaccinations
• Healthy Heart check (double appointment)
• Weight monitoring (double appointment)

Nurses

3. Practice Nurse - Joanne Day

• Smears
• Ear syringe
• Zoladex injections
• Baby immunisations
• Child immunisations including Whooping cough injections
• Travel Vaccinations except yellow fever, rabies
• COPD reviews
• Spirometry (double appointment)
• Dressings
• Asthma over 12 years ONLY (Double appointment if new asthmatic)
• Smoking Cessation (double appointment if 1st time)
• Flu, pneumonia, shingles, B12, HPV, all other vaccinations – please check before booking

4. Practice Nurse – Jackie Robson

• Contraception ie The Pill, Depo & HRT – if already taking HRT medication
• Diabetic checks & reviews (double appointment if NEW diabetic)
• Dressings
• Coronary Heart Disease
• Ear Syringing
• COPD review (double appointment)
• Spirometry (double appointment)
• Smoking Cessation (Double appointment needed for 1st consultation)
• Smears
• Swabs (if GP requests)
• Zoladex injections
• Baby immunisations
• Child immunisations including Whooping cough vaccinations
• Travel Vaccinations except yellow fever, rabies
• Flu, pneumonia, shingles, B12, HPV, all other vaccinations – please check before booking

5. From 01.06.19 Practice Nurse - Claire Smith

• Contraception ie The Pill if not initial pill, Depo if not initial injection
• Diabetic checks & reviews (double appointment if NEW diabetic)
