Urgent Appointments
To book and urgent appointment please call the surgery on 01642 638960. If there are no routine appointments available, but you feel that your problem is urgent, please tell the receptionist.
Patients with urgent problems will be seen on the same day by the nominated duty doctor who will deal with any urgent problems or queries. It is helpful if you can provide as much detail as you can for the duty doctor to review before your appointment.
Routine Appointments
Patients can book routine face to face and telephone appointments up to 2 weeks in advance. You can use our direct booking tool SystmOnline or the NHS App or you can call the practice on 01642 638960.
If you have a non-urgent problem or you don’t need to be seen face to face, you can submit an request for an appointment online. A member of the team will review your request and direct the problem to the correct team. Please allow 48 hours for our team to review your request.
If you have booked your appointment online patients can cancel their own appointments via the same booking tool. Appointment reminder texts will also be sent to patients through which you will be able to cancel your appointment should you need to do so.

Home Visits
If you are too ill to come to the surgery you can ask for a home visit by telephoning 01642 6389560 before 10.30am. Visits requested after 12.00pm will be passed to the duty doctor and should be of an urgent nature only. Housebound patients for whom travel would cause deterioration of their medical condition.
Do Not Attend Policy
Please note the practice have a strict DNA policy. If a patient fails to attend several appointments, they will receive a warning letter. Patients who receive 3 warning letters will then be removed from the practice.
Need to see a GP outside your normal surgery hours?
If you need to see or speak to a GP on a bank holiday, over the weekend or between the hours of 6pm to 8am Monday to Friday then please ring NHS 111 who will help you to access our STAR - Local extended GP hours service. Booking Appointments Online
The easiest way to book your appointments online is to register with the NHS App. The app allows you to book appointments, order your repeat prescription, book child vaccinations and access lots of different health and care websites and apps with one set of login details. More information can be found here.
Patients can also sign up for our direct booking tool SystmOnline. You can book appointments and order prescriptions but you must get a username and password from reception first.
Patients need to complete and application form and provide reception with photographic ID. They will then receive a username and password.
For patients who do not have photographic identification then a current utility bill is acceptable. The reception team will post a username and password to the applicant if a stamped self-addressed is provided.
